Mercedes engine and drivetrain repair in Miami

MERCEDES ENGINE & DRIVETRAIN

The hard jobs belong on a stand. Timing chains, head gaskets and full rebuilds are not work to rush between other bookings — they get a bay, a stand, and a technician who has done the job before.

MERCEDES ENGINES, START TO FINISH

M-series petrol and OM-series diesel, from older naturally aspirated units through to current turbocharged fours and sixes. 7G-Tronic and 9G-Tronic gearboxes, including valve body and mechatronic work.

Every rebuild uses genuine Mercedes parts and is assembled to factory torque and clearance specification.

SIX JOBS THAT BELONG WITH US

Timing chain and guides

A stretched chain and worn guides are a known Mercedes wear item. Caught early it is a chain and guides; left too long it becomes a cylinder head.

Head gasket and cylinder head

Pressure testing, skimming and reassembly to the factory torque sequence.

Turbocharger

Boost loss, shaft play, oil feed and actuator faults on modern turbocharged Mercedes engines.

Complete engine rebuild

Full strip, measure and reassembly on a stand — including classic units through our Classics division.

Transmission and mechatronic

7G-Tronic and 9G-Tronic service, valve body and mechatronic repair, and adaptation resets on the factory tool.

Oil leaks and gasket renewal

Cam cover, sump, rear main and turbo feed lines — traced properly rather than guessed at.

SIX SYMPTOMS NOT TO IGNORE

Rattle on cold start

Usually a timing chain or tensioner. The cheapest day to fix it is today.

White smoke or a sweet smell

Coolant where it should not be — head gasket or oil cooler.

Boost loss or a check-engine light

Turbo, charge pipe or sensor. A factory scan separates the three quickly.

Harsh or delayed shifts

Fluid, valve body or mechatronic. Often recoverable if caught before the clutch packs wear.

Oil on the driveway

Trace it before it reaches the belt or the exhaust.

Lurching idle, stalling or hard starting

Fuel, ignition or air metering — live data finds it.
